Katherine Aguilar’s journey into fashion began in 2019, during the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19, a global pandemic. Launching a business during a time of uncertainty and nearly a two-year global shutdown required immense passion and determination. 

Katherine was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela in 1993. She moved to Miami with her family at the age of 6 in hopes for a better future, fleeing from a communist country. Inspired by her mother’s impeccable style and driven by a passion for sophisticated fashion. Though she was initially accepted into the Art Institute to study fashion, Katherine chose to pursue a degree in business in search for broader opportunities. Years later, she returned to her true calling, determined to create a line that reflects her love for high-end fashion, perfectly tailored fits and designs that empower women to embrace their natural curves in designs and fabrics that accentuate the female silhouette. As a curvy woman herself, Katherine understood the challenge of finding pieces that truly celebrate the curvy female form while retaining a refined polished look, leading her to create PÓSH—a brand that transformed her vision into reality.
